Vibration, Volume 8, Issue 4 (December 2025) – 26 articles
Cover Story: A newly published systematic review written by Eckardt Johanning and Alice Turcot critically examines how whole-body vibration (WBV) exposure is assessed in occupational and non-occupational settings using ISO 2631-1 and the EU Machine Directive 2002/44. It found inconsistent reporting of WBV measurement parameters and unclear epidemiological support for current numeric threshold limits. The review recommends cautious use of established threshold limits, consideration of population differences, and reducing WBV exposure as much as technically possible. View this paper
